NEXUS / CHILI - an even stronger combination!

The Radiology division from NEXUS / DIS GmbH and CHILI GmbH have been operating under the umbrella of a joint company - NEXUS / CHILI GmbH - since 09.12.2019.

After the closest cooperation in the past years, the most innovative RIS on the market is now also united organizationally with 40 years of experience in multimedia communication and reporting.

CHILI GmbH has already been part of the NEXUS Group since May 2017 and strengthens the product portfolio with its telemedicine and image archiving systems. Cooperation with the radiology division of NEXUS / DIS GmbH has been successful from the beginning: added value for customers could be created primarily by eliminating interfaces and centralizing processes.

The market position as a complete solution provider and specialist in the area of "Radiology and Imaging" is to be expanded further together from now on.

"After the close cooperation in the past years and joint sales, merging the divisions is the next logical step," explains Dennis Klein, who manages the company as the third Managing Director of NEXUS / CHILI together with Dr. Uwe Engelmann and Dr. Heiko Münch.

"We can offer our customers a diverse product portfolio from one source and support them with concentrated know-how and leaner processes in the future," confirms Dr. Uwe Engelmann.

The History of NEXUS / CHILI GmbH

The company was founded in 1997 as a spin-off from the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg and initially operated as Steinbeis Transfer Center Medical Informatics. In 2002, the company was transformed into the independent CHILI GmbH. The merger with the NEXUS Group followed in 2017 and finally the change of name to NEXUS / CHILI GmbH two years later.
