St. Anna Zorggroep puts NEXUS / RISNG into operation

St. Anna is the first hospital in the Netherlands to implement the new RIS from the e-health provider NEXUS AG. The new functionalities were put into operation with the go-live date on June 21 in Geldrop.

In addition to the new NEXUS / RISNG (Radiology Information System), order management and nursing logistics were also included in the suite. St. Anna had already been using NEXUS / HIS (Hospital Information System) for a long time and announced an extension of the partnership last year. "With the new modules, we now have optimal support for all our work processes," explained Paul de Roij, Manager of the internal strategy program "ANNA NEXT" at St. Anna.

In Germany, RISNG and PACSNG from NEXUS have already been used for many years. Dennis Klein, Division Manager Radiology at NEXUS: "The productive start in the Netherlands is an important milestone for us as a European group of companies and is our pilot and door opener into the Dutch market." In Germany, more than 150 facilities use NEXUS / RIS and PACS.

Paul de Roij: "With RISNG, St. Anna has put a state-of-the-art system into operation. Our employees now have digital access to the radiology appointment scheduler, so they can make an appointment quickly and easily directly in the outpatient clinic."
