CHILI and NEXUS combine their technologies

In order to strengthen its market position, the CHILI GmbH has joined the NEXUS AG, which now holds a 51% stake. The aim is to deeply integrate CHILI’s telemedicine and PACS (picture archiving and communication system) into the product portfolio of NEXUS.
For CHILI customers everything remains unchanged. The CHILI GmbH will continue to operate as an independent company within the NEXUS group under its own name and will retain the existing management.
With NEXUS, CHILI wins an innovative HIS vendor as a partner. With about 960 employees, NEXUS offers support to customers in 21 countries and is a market leader for numerous special solutions in diagnostics, including radiology, pathology, cytology, gastroenterology, and cardiology. As a pioneer in telemedicine and with its expertise in setting up networks for health facilities, CHILI complements the product portfolio of NEXUS. In association with NEXUS, CHILI can gain new market areas and growth.
Currently, the CHILI GmbH supports more than 350 customers providing them innovative software solutions for telemedicine and image processing systems. Furthermore, CHILI connects about 200 medical facilities within the TKmed network. The company founders of the CHILI GmbH, Dr. Uwe Engelmann and André Schröter, will continue to assist the CHILI GmbH, its customers and employees with their experience and will consequently contribute their knowledge to the NEXUS group.

As a result, we will provide our existing CHILI customers and joint NEXUS customers with powerful and future-oriented solutions for digital radiology and telemedicine in a strong network.”
CHILI products will still be actively marketed outside the NEXUS product world. “CHILI values the customer-oriented development and an open communication, and this will remain unchanged.”

Chili GmbH has been a recognized and multi-award-winning partner for innovative software solutions at home and abroad in the field of multimedia image management and teleradiology for many years.
